description

Ancient, decrepit cat of mostly Siamese origin. You can tell by the deep throated yowl that she employs when she feels lonely, or lately whenever she hasn\\\'t seen someone in a few seconds. She used to be sleek, black with dark brown stripes that you could see in the light. Now she is quite thin, her knees are balding, and the tips of her fur are starting to turn white. Terminally cranky disposition.

Tickle Baby passed away in early February. She was a dearly beloved pet and companion, and I miss her.

habits

Lately she meows constantly, whenever she is not sleeping. She is mostly deaf and partially blind, but still managed to get into a closed and empty box last night, start meowing, and confuse me to no end while I looked for her. This amuses her greatly, and she does things like it whenever possible. She can no longer jump long distances, but used to climb to the top of the bookshelves, into high cabinets and under drawers. She has always liked small, enclosed spaces, and was the first cat to adopt me as her special person. In fact, she has outlived every other cat to claim me, and I am now her special person once again.

diet

Half \\\"The Goodlife Recipe,\\\" some sort of fancy cat food, and half of a prescription food, as her eye was filling with blood a while back and we discovered that her blood pressure is inordinately high.

She loves sweets, and years ago scared me half to death by jumping up to my plate and stealing a whole slice of cantaloupe. That is a peculiarity of hers; she loves melon and corn, her favorite being cantaloupe, and lately she tries to drink my hot tea while my back is turned, despite having burnt herself several times.
