Grace
House feral kitten that my parents recently acquired. I met her over Spring Break, and I can see why they got another cat so soon after our beloved oldest cat passed away. She is a beautiful calico, very small, as can be seen from the picture. What cannot be seen, as it is a low quality cell phone picture, is the brown that is on her muzzle. I thought she was a black and white cat, with a little bit of brown on her ear, until I actually met her. She's mostly brown/tan and black, with bits of white here and there.
She doesn't live up to her name just yet. We had to get her declawed (only in the front; my parents have always declawed cats in the interest of keeping small children - me and my sister - unscathed, but they always leave the back claws for self defense) because she was tearing up bedsheets in her eagerness to jump after feet. She's pretty good at differentiating between skin and clothing, and shows unfailing politeness at night; she will walk into a room and mew softly. If there is no reply, then she goes away. Woe betide you move, however. Any response at all and she is delighted to take advantage of it, pouncing and meowing happily.
I really have no idea. I don't feed her. I think she eats some wet cat food sometimes, though, which we've never really fed our cats. It's junk food for cats; expensive, apparently delicious, and too much of it makes them pudgy and greasy.
